Project Description:
Laddle Cover Manipulator is used for putting special cover on the top of iron laddle after discharging in Steel Shop. This operation is performed in due to save heat of iron laddle during transportation to the Blast Furnace. Ladle Cover Manipulator is design with jib crane with arm movement in three axes. At the end of the arm there is electromagnet for cover lifting. Controlling is performed from the local pendant and remote pulpit. All drives of the Manipulator are frequency controlled.
