Project Description:
Globex Group's Electrical Engineers completed the design
for a control panel unit & control pulpit for an
Iron Transfer Car used to transport a cast iron ladle
(capacity: 100t of cast iron). Operation of the car
is done via two control pulpits. Limit switches are
used to position the car over a station where weight
and temperature are gauged. Limit switches are also
used to transfer command from one pulpit to another,
and to put the car in it’s final position. Operating
logic is done by software installed in programmable
relay LOGO.
